The CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) indicates a foundation in telecommunication networking and apprentice knowledge of data networking. CCNA certified professionals can install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small networks (100 nodes or fewer), including but not limited to use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists.

CCNA can be attained in one of two ways:
a. One off CCNA 640-801
b. Introduction to Cisco Networking Technologies (INTRO)
c. Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (ICND

CCNP equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to plan, implement, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot converged enterprise networks. The curriculum consists of three courses:

CCNP ROUTE: Implementing IP Routing,
CCNP SWITCH: Implementing IP Switching,
CCNP TSHOOT: Maintaining and Troubleshooting IP Networks.
